I’m Viv, the face behind it all...
Hey, I’m Viv – the color-loving, always-on-the-go designer who quit corporate America in 2020 because I just knew I was meant for more than sitting behind a desk. I swapped being an architect, designing corporate interiors, and managing construction projects for working for myself and exploring other ways of designing, which led me to designing and building memorable pieces for clients' wedding days. People might think it’s all “arts and crafts,” but to me, design is everything.
Originally born in Ireland, I now live on the South Shore of Boston, with my incredible husband, Anthony (our in-house carpenter!), and our two loveable rescue pups, Shelby and Tracker, by our side. I’m a total extrovert who loves working with people, with just a hint of introvert tendencies. Traveling fuels my creativity, and running my own business has brought so much joy to my life. I’m always chasing new ideas and I never stop dreaming!

My husband, Anthony, a Marine veteran, firefighter, and former finished carpenter, is the best teammate I could ask for. As our business grew, he jumped in without hesitation. On your wedding day, he is the one single-handedly carrying massive walls while I obsess over the tiniest details, and together, we make the perfect team. While I design everything, his incredible talent brings it to life, building each piece with precision and care. His strength, skill, and support make this all possible. Without him, Signs by Viv wouldn’t be what it is today!
